Terms

Using this site means accepting what follows. It is short, and it is mostly about who carries the risk, so please read it rather than scrolling past it.

Non-custodial

Chroma never holds your money. You keep your own keys, your position lives in your own address, and nothing moves unless you sign for it. We cannot freeze an account, adjust a balance or reverse a transaction, because there is no account and no balance on our side to touch. Once you sign, it is final — so read what you are signing, keep your device and your seed phrase safe, and check the domain before you connect.

Risk

Borrowing against a volatile asset can cost you the collateral. If the price falls far enough, anyone may liquidate your position and take that collateral at a discount, without notice and without a margin call. That is not a remote scenario; it is the ordinary mechanism, and it runs at every hour of every day.

Tokenized equities carry a second problem, and it is the one this site was built to make visible: their price feeds go quiet when the underlying market is closed. A stale price can be wrong in either direction, and it can jump the moment it updates. Chroma shows you how old each price is. It cannot make an old price accurate.

Beyond that, contracts can contain bugs however well audited, oracles can fail, chains can halt, and interest accrues every second. Any of it can cost you everything you put in. Do not commit money you need.

Not advice

Nothing here — no number, no rate, no piece of writing — is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to do anything. Figures are estimates drawn from public data and can be delayed or wrong. Verify anything that matters before you act on it.

Where you are

Whether you may lawfully use a service like this depends on where you live, and working that out is your responsibility. Do not use Chroma where it would breach the law that applies to you, or if you are subject to sanctions or acting for someone who is. You confirm you are old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Availability

The interface is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not guarantee it, and we may change or discontinue it.

If it is ever down, your position is unaffected. Chroma settles into public contracts you can reach without us, and the docs tell you how. We built it that way on purpose.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of this interface — including liquidations, stale or incorrect prices, failed transactions, downtime, failures in the chain, oracles or wallet software we do not operate, or decisions you made on the basis of what you read here. You use it at your own risk.

Honest use

Do not use this site to break the law, to attack the infrastructure behind it, or to impersonate us. Finding a vulnerability is welcome — tell us before you tell anyone else. Exploiting one is not.

Changes

We may revise this page, and the date at the top will say when. Continuing to use the site after that is how you accept the revision. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest stands.
